Bal Anat, the original tribal dance troupe is back! In June 2001, Suhaila Salimpour brought her mother's vision back to life with Bal Anat's debut in San Francisco. Since the original troupe's last performances in the 1970's, many have imitated the tribal style made popular by Jamila Salimpour, but none have come close to her spirited originality. At long last, Suhaila is fulfilling her dream by bringing to life again the show that has inspired so many. Running time approximately 40 minutes.
