Babelesque is a merger of many musical styles, yet maintaining a general focus on the rhythms and melodies emanating from the Middle East. The tracks were chosen for their inspiration to dance and form the basic soundtrack to the Bellydance Superstars show of the same name. Music offering fresh new sounds and rhythms whilst still being accessible to the Western ear.
