Suliman el Coyote and Armando Mafufo, two exciting musicians who make up the band SIROCCO, recreate their rich and varied musical heritage of Asia. Their repertoire includes the main schools of islamic music; Egyptian, Persian, North African & Turkish.
This CD contains the most popular and well loved 5 part country dance with arghool, mizmar, nay ant the tabel beledi drum. This recording is a favourite of dancers performing in the tribal style and is used by Carolena Nericcio, director of Fat Chance Belly Dance.
